<span style="font-size: large;"><b>10 Successful Tips for Jobs in Google</b></span><br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>1. Get professional experience.</b><br />
"If you have the right professional experience, it might not even matter if you have no university degree at all. (Of course, having a good degree is always preferable.)" — Lutz Enke, Hamburg Googler<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
<b>2. Build up your coding skills (if you're applying for an engineering job). </b><br />
"GPA is only one criteria. When you're starting out, what matters more is how well you can interpret code, come up with different ways to improve it, and how quickly can you ramp up over time." — Gaanesh Kap<br />
<br />
<b>3. It's better not to apply externally through the company website (instead focus on internships, campus recruiting, and referrals)</b><br />
"The best ways to get an interview with mediocre grades is the best way to get interviews in general...If you have to externally apply via (for example) a company web site, your chances of getting an interview aren't very good." — John L. Miller, interviewer at Microsoft, Amazon, and Google<br />
<br />
<b>4. Directly reach out to a Google recruiter.</b><br />
"I have gotten two interviews at Google (both I have failed miserably)...but I got them. The first one I got by going on LinkedIn and emailing Google Recruiters. I emailed 3, and 1 responded." — Mark Kuczmarski<br />
<br />
<b>5. Grow a specialty and become what Google calls a "T-shaped" person.</b><br />
"Google looks for 'T-Shaped people' — very skilled in one area, often the best in their field, but also have other interests." — Staff.com<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>6. Wait until you're more than three years out of school.</b><br />
"If you apply within 3 years [of graduation], Google will ask for your transcript and it will stay in the electronic records used by Google recruiters forever. If you wait to apply and don't volunteer your GPA they shouldn't ask." — Harvey Alcabes, MIT CS alum<br />
<br />
<b>7. Juice up your resume with a list of other activities.</b><br />
"The tough part is getting past the resume screen. You'd better have something else on your resume besides a GPA. They get 3000 resumes a day and they can't interview everyone." — Bruce R. Miller, current Staff Engineer at Google<br />
<br />
<b>8. Showcase your engineering skills.</b><br />
"In general, have some evidence that you are a rockstar engineer that you can present." — Noam Ben-Ami, Analytics Engineer @ MuleSoft<br />
<br />
<b>9. Have a track record on open source projects.</b><br />
"I know that everybody is trying to cheer you up but reality is that unless you have a pretty impressive track record contributing to open source projects, it's highly unlikely. That's not only for Google by the way. Once you get more experienced and have some impressive projects under the belt, grades matter less." — Lee Provost<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>10. Show you’re passionate about technology and the company and Clearly communicate how you can help the company.</b><br />
"One has to love the company that they're interviewing for. Be passionate in what he/she is interested in. You may say that would only score brownie points - somewhat true. But it's that energy that an interviewer might notice that makes the difference." — Arnold W. Mok<br />
<br />
"At the end of the day, it comes down to this: Can you communicate how you can help the company? Passion, creativity, initiative, and a 'getting things done' attitude are all signals of that." — Gayle Laakmaan McDowell, Author of "The Google Resume: How to Prepare for a Career and Land a Job at Apple, Microsoft, Google, or Any Top Tech Company."<br />
<br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Focus on your resume</span></b><br />
<br />
This is the first piece of information they'll see about you, so highlight your achievements. Here’s how to frame them:
<br />
<br />
Align your skills and experience with the job description.<br />
<br />
Be specific about projects you’ve worked on or managed. What was the outcome? How did you measure success?<br />
<br />
If you've had a leadership role, tell us about it. How big was the team? What was the scope of your work?
If you're a recent university graduate or have limited work experience, include school-related projects or coursework that demonstrate relevant skills and knowledge.<br />
<br />
Keep it short: If there’s additional information (like a portfolio) we need during the hiring process, your recruiter will work with you to collect it.
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">How they review applications (and what happens next)</span></b><br />
<br />
<b>Reading applications</b><br />
<br />
The qualifications listed in the job description are there to help you select the role that best fits your background and aspirations, so pay close attention—recruiters review applications with these in mind.
<br />
<br />
Applications are read by real humans who are both experts in interpreting resumes and familiar with our jobs—not just the one you applied for. This allows recruiters to route candidates across the entire company. If there’s no current match available, they’ll make a note to follow up with you about future opportunities.
<br />
<br />
If our recruiters find a potential match, they’ll schedule a call to learn more about your skills and experience. Bring your questions—this is your opportunity to learn more about the role and our chance to hear more about you.</div>

It's only over the past one year at American Express that Aparna Shrian, an associate counsel and also mother of a four-year-old, discovered work-life balance after having spent over a decade in three other companies. "It is here that I truly experienced flexibility at work. At AmEx, it does not matter where you work from or when you work as long as the work is done. The organisations I worked with earlier merely talked about flexibility," she says.<br />

Tax deducted at Source i.e TDS is basically a part of I.T. income tax. It has to be deducted by a person for certain payments made by them. In this article, we will discuss in detail about the TDS provisions under the Income Tax Act.
<br />

<b><span style="font-size: large;">FAQ on TDS</span></b><br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span></b>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">1. What is TDS? </span></b><br />
<br />
TDS or Tax Deduction at Source is income tax deducted from the money paid at the time of making specified payments such as rent, commission, professional fees, salary, interest etc. by the persons making such payments.<br />
<br />
Usually, the person receiving income is liable to pay income tax. But the government with the help of TDS provisions makes sure that income tax is deducted in advance from the payments being made by you.tds
<br />
<br />
For instance, XYZ Pvt Ltd make a payment for office rent of Rs 80,000 per month to the owner of the property.
<br />
<br />
TDS is required to be deducted at 10%. XYZ pvt ltd must deduct TDS of Rs 8000 and pay balance Rs 72,000 to the owner of the property.
<br />
<br />
Thus the recipient of income i.e. the owner of the property in the above case receives the net amount of Rs 72,000 after deduction of tax at source. He will add gross amount i.e. Rs 80,000 to his income and can take credit of the amount already deducted i.e. Rs 8,000 by XYZ pvt ltd against his final tax liability.
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>2. When should TDS be deducted and by whom?</b></span><br />
Any person making specified payments mentioned under the Income Tax Act are required to deduct TDS at the time of making such specified payment. But no TDS has to deducted if the person making the payment is an individual or HUF whose books are not required to be audited.
<br />
<br />
However, in case of rent payments made by individuals and HUF exceeding Rs 50,000 per month, are required to deduct TDS @ 5% even if the individual or HUF is not liable for a tax audit. Also, such Individuals and HUF liable to deduct TDS @ 5% need not apply for TAN.<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>3. What is the due date for depositing the TDS to the government?</b></span><br />
The TDS deducted must be deposited to the government by 7th of the subsequent month. For instance, TDS deducted in the month of June must be paid to the government by 7th July. However, the TDS deducted in the month of March can be deposited till 30th April.
<br />
<br />
For TDS deducted on rent and purchase of property, the due date is 30 days from the end of the month in which TDS is deducted.
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>4. How to deposit TDS?</b></span><br />
TDS has to be deposited using Challan ITNS-281 on the government portal.<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><br /></b></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>5. How and When to file TDS returns?:</b></span><br />
Filing TDS returns is mandatory for all the persons who have deducted TDS. TDS return is to be submitted quarterly and various details need to be furnished like TAN, amount of TDS deducted, type of payment, PAN of deductee, etc. Also, different forms are prescribed for filing returns depending upon the purpose of the deduction of TDS. Various types of return forms are as follows:<br />

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<b><span style="font-size: large;">What is TDS ? Types of TDS and its rates for FY 2018-19 </span></b><br />
<b>Every information regarding the TDS are mentioned below with applicable chart rates.</b><br />
<b>Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) </b>is a means of collecting income tax in India, under the Indian Income Tax Act of 1961. Any payment covered under these provisions shall be paid after deducting prescribed percentage. It is managed by the Central Board for Direct Taxes (CBDT) and is part of the Department of Revenue managed by Indian Revenue Service ..<br />
<br />
<b>What is TDS?
</b>TDS is simply Tax Deducted at Source. As per the Income Tax Act – persons responsible for making payments are required to deduct tax at source at prescribed rates. Instead of receiving tax on your income from you at a later date, the govt wants the payers to deduct tax before hand and deposit it with the govt.
<br />
<br />
Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) is a system of Indirect Tax Collection by Income Tax Department, where an individual is responsible for making specified payments such as<br />
<b>salary, </b><br />
<b>commission, </b><br />
<b>professional fees, </b><br />
<b>interest, </b><br />
<b>rent,</b> etc.<br />
<a name='more'></a>is liable to deduct a certain percentage of tax before making payment in full to the receiver of the payment. As the name suggests, the concept of TDS is to deduct tax at its source and it is an indirect tax collection with the concept of “pay as you earn” and collect as it is being earned”.<br />
<br />
The recipient of income receives the net amount (after deducted of tax at source). The recipient will add the gross amount to his income and the amount deducted at source is adjusted against his final tax liability. Basically take credit of the amount already deducted and paid on his behalf.
<br />
<br />
TDS is deducted at the time of payment in cash or cheque or credit to the payee’s account whichever happens earlier.
<br />
<br />
TDS is deducted on salaries, interest payment by banks, payment of commission, while paying rent, payments made to consultants, payments to lawyers or freelancers. (Some of these requirements to deduct tax are not applicable to individuals – for e.g. individuals are not expected to deduct TDS while paying rent or while paying fees to doctors or lawyers).
<br />
<br />
Your employer deducts TDS at the income tax slab rates applicable. Banks deduct TDS @10%. Or they may deduct @ 20% if they do not have your PAN information. For most payments rates of TDS are set in the income tax act and TDS is deducted by payer basis these specified rates.
<br />
<br />
If you submit investment proofs (for claiming deductions) to your employer and your total taxable income is below the taxable limit – you do not have to pay any tax. And therefore no TDS should be deducted on your income. Similarly you can submit Form 15G and Form 15H to the bank if your total income is below taxable limit so that they don’t deduct TDS on your interest income.
In case you have not been able to submit proofs to your employer or if your employer or bank has already deducted TDS and your total income is below the taxable limit) – you can file a Return and claim a refund of this TDS.
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">TDS & PAN
Its important to understand how TDS is linked to your PAN. </span></b><br />
TDS deductions are linked to PAN numbers for both the deductor and deductee. If TDS has been deducted from any of your income you must go through the Tax Credit Form 26AS. This form is a consolidated tax statement which is available to all PAN holders. Since all TDS is linked to your PAN, this form lists out the details of TDS deducted on your income by each deductor for all kinds of payments made to you – whether those are salaries or interest income – all TDS linked to your PAN is reported here. This form also has income tax directly paid by you – as advance tax or self assessment tax. Therefore, it becomes important for you to mention your PAN correctly, wherever TDS may be applicable on your income.
<br />
<br />
The deduction of TDS varies based on the source of your income and it ranges between 1% to 30%. The person on whom the responsibility of deducting tax is imposed has to deduct tax at source at appropriate rates and the deducted sum is deposited to the credit of government of India.
<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b><span style="font-size: large;">TDS Rate on Salary:</span></b><br />
Any employer has the authority to deduct tax at source while making the actual payment to the employee. The employers deduct tax from salaries only at the time of payment. TDS is deducted if the total income of the employee is taxable. TDS will not be deducted if your total income is Rs. 2, 50,000. This amount is applicable for men and women below the age of 60 years. Normally, TDS deduction rate on salary ranges from 10% to 30%.

<b>What is Balance Sheet ? </b><br />
<b>Definition of 'Balance Sheet'</b><br />
Balance Sheet is simple language we can say that It is the financial statement of a company which includes assets, liabilities, equity capital, total debt, etc. at a point in time. Balance sheet includes assets on one side, and liabilities on the other.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYZfX-785_FrXdYBHhPjQJlplU6zHyYvYsJL9zHKmyxy7WrY62w-F39iqD4Puj3eIGQkBRmMWW6z4c2Y-RsbqOY1TUTTjTXV0-3NvvmM2dEyK17Sf6b0f2AdVkT5Ow9JqjDdP1d4G4xEE/s1600/Balance+Sheet.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Balance Sheet is a Financial Statements" border="0" data-original-height="159" data-original-width="318" height="160" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYZfX-785_FrXdYBHhPjQJlplU6zHyYvYsJL9zHKmyxy7WrY62w-F39iqD4Puj3eIGQkBRmMWW6z4c2Y-RsbqOY1TUTTjTXV0-3NvvmM2dEyK17Sf6b0f2AdVkT5Ow9JqjDdP1d4G4xEE/s320/Balance+Sheet.png" title="What is Balance Sheet ?" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
For the balance sheet to reflect the true picture, both heads (liabilities & assets) should tally<br />
<b>(Assets = Liabilities + Equity).</b><br />
<a name='more'></a><b>
</b><br />
<b>Description of Balance Sheet</b>: Balance sheet is more like a snapshot of the financial position of a company at a specified time, usually calculated after every quarter, six months or one year. Balance Sheet has two main heads –assets and liabilities.<br />
<br />
Let’s understand each one of them.<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>What are assets? </b><br />
An asset is anything of value that a company owns. This includes cash, property and equipment, inventory, accounts receivables and more. An asset is something that can be converted to cash value.
In the balance sheet, the total value of assets represents an important part of the equation. Assets are an indication of a company’s holdings and contribute to overall value.
Assets are those resources or things which the company owns. They can be divided into current as well as non-current assets or long term assets.
<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>Liabilities ?</b><b><br /></b>
A liability is an amount that a company owes. Typically, a liability involves money borrowed in order to support business activities, so can also include accounts payable and general debt.
In the balance sheet, the total liabilities is the total money owed, whether to a lender, bank, or supplier. In relation to the assets, it provides an idea of how stable a business is, as well as whether accounts are overdue.
<b>Liabilities</b> on are debts or obligations of a company. It is the amount that the company owes to its creditors. Liabilities can be divided into current liabilities and long term liabilities.
<br />
<br />
Another important head in the balance sheet is shareholder or owner’s equity. Assets are equal to total liabilities and owners’ equity. Owner’s equity is used when the company is a sole proprietorship and shareholders’ equity is used when the company is a corporation. It is also known as book value of the company.
<br />
<br />
Let’s understand reporting of a transaction on a balance sheet. If a company XYZ takes a five-year loan from public sector banks for an amount of Rs 5,00,000, it means that the bank will pay the money to XYZ Ltd.
<br />
<br />
The accounts department will increase the cash component by 5,00,000 on the assets front, and at the same time increase the long term debt account with the same amount, thus balancing both the sides.
<br />
<br />
If company raises Rs 10,00,000 from investors, then its assets will increase by that amount, as will its shareholder’s equity.</div>

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<b>All the details that you should know about how to Get Reliance Jio Sim Without Lyf Phone is here in this article.</b><br />
<br /></div>
There are a few different ways in which you can get a Reliance Jio SIM. The network works on 4G, and uses VoLTE for calls, but the latter is not available on old phones. There is an app called JioJoin that Reliance offers which works around this through VoIP calling, in case your phone doesn't support VoLTE, so it isn't a very big problem. The easiest way to get your hands a Reliance Jio SIM is to buy a Lyf phone by Reliance Retail.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8-G_IFoWmq8gBiO8UN_i5p6_YDKA_1bJFtKIrCP2jF2ORyiVwbrJqlTJ7oFtynBnruVvU9H0iANJcjM9QabgIz6uhWvRwwF8tRvBJf-RjL_dDPsCzwSoBG9jb7OfnZqIj05CVQWaRZjQ/s1600/Jio+Sim.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Info on How to Get Reliance Jio Sim Without Lyf Phone" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8-G_IFoWmq8gBiO8UN_i5p6_YDKA_1bJFtKIrCP2jF2ORyiVwbrJqlTJ7oFtynBnruVvU9H0iANJcjM9QabgIz6uhWvRwwF8tRvBJf-RjL_dDPsCzwSoBG9jb7OfnZqIj05CVQWaRZjQ/s1600/Jio+Sim.jpg" title="Get Reliance Jio Sim" /></a></div>
<br />
Reliance Retail's Lyf range of phones hasn't been getting the most spectacular reviews, but it's the easiest way to get a new Reliance Jio SIM right now. Just walk into a Reliance Digital Store, ask for a new Lyf phone, and you're live on Reliance Jio. You can get a phone for as little as Rs. 3,000, and you'll get three months of free, unlimited Internet access and calling along with it.
<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
We can inform you that buying a phone like this, turning on the Wi-Fi hotspot, and using 4G to power your entire home's Internet access, works just fine, and the speed and reliability (at the moment) is better than most broadband connections at home.
<br />
This gives you free, unlimited data, calling, and access to all of Reliance Jio's apps for three months, or until the commercial launch of Reliance Jio, whichever is later. But if you don't want to carry around an extra handset everywhere you go, or don't want to buy another phone just to get a Reliance Jio SIM there are other options.
<br />
<br />
If you have a 4G compatible phone, you can get started with Jio, here's what you need to do to get a Reliance Jio SIM:
<br />
<br />
1) Make friends with someone working for Reliance<br />
The easiest way to get a Jio SIM is to know someone who works with Reliance. The company allows employees to refer a certain number of people to get Jio SIMs that can be used in your phone. Most Reliance employees are probably used to getting friend requests on Facebook from people that just want a SIM, so you might want to try one of the other methods instead.
<br />
<br />
2) The Reliance Jio SIM Preview offer<br />
The partner offer is the easiest way of getting a Reliance Jio SIM if you have any of the eligible phones. As of writing this report, the Jio Preview offer has been extended to smartphones by Samsung, HTC, Micromax, Sony, Vivo, Intex, Lava, Gionee, Panasonic, Asus, Xolo, LG, Karbonn, Videocon, YU, Sansui, Alcatel, and TCL.

<b>Just follow these steps on a qualifying smartphone:
</b><br />

Download & Open MyJio App from Play Store<br />
Tap on Get Jio SIM on the Banner<br />
Tap on Agree & Get Jio offer<br />
Select your location from the drop down<br />
Read through the steps and click on Next<br />
Offer Code can be viewed on the screen. Note down your offer code.<br />
Once that's done, you will get a bar code that you need to take to a Reliance Digital where you have to show your phone and you'll get a SIM. Remember to carry a photograph for the form, and your photo ID, and the staff will do the rest. Quick tip: in our experience - and what many other people online are also telling us - the Reliance Digital Xpress Mini Stores are much more efficient about this process than the larger Reliance Digital stores.
<br />
Note that though only a few phones qualify for the Reliance Jio SIM under this offer, you can still use this SIM on other phones if you want.</div>

<b>About Saina Nehwal, Badminton</b><br />
Saina Nehwal (About this sound pronunciation (help·info); born 17 March 1990) is an Indian badminton player, former world no.1 in Women's Singles . She is the first Indian to win a medal in Badminton at the Olympics. She achieved this feat by winning the Bronze medal at the London Olympics 2012 on 4 August 2012. She is also the first Indian after Prakash Padukone and the first Indian woman to become world number 1 badminton player. Besides these, she is the first Indian to win the World Junior Badminton Championships and was also the first Indian to win a Super Series tournament, by clinching the Indonesia Open on 21 June 2009.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Saina is supported by the Olympic Gold Quest.
Saina was initially coached by S. M. Arif a Dronacharya Award winner, and then by Pullela Gopichand till 2014 September. Saina is the reigning Indian national champion and is currently coached by the former Indian badminton champion and national coach Vimal Kumar. Saina Nehwal played for Hyderabad Hotshots in the Indian Badminton League in 2013. She won silver at 2015 BWF World Championship becoming the first Indian to do so.
<br />
<br />
She won India its third medal at the London Olympics and the first ever in badminton; and is currently the second best badminton player in the world. Nehwal already holds the title for the first Indian to win the World Junior Badminton Championships and the first Indian to win a Super Series tournament. In a country where cricket is the only sport synonymous with moolah, she became India's highest-paid non-cricketing sportsperson when she signed a $7.4 million deal with Rhiti Sports in 2012. Her unrelenting success and indefatigable dedication has inspired a lot of youngsters to ditch the cricket bat and take up the badminton racquet, bringing a much-needed change in attitude towards the sport.

If money is your No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 priorities when it comes to work, you might want to make sure you're qualified to work in technology or management consulting.<br />
<br />
Here's why: Technology companies account for most of the 25 highest paying companies this year, according to a compilation of salary reports from users of the jobs site Glassdoor.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Consulting firms come in a distant second.<br />
<br />
And Visa is the sole company representing finance on the list.<br />
<br />
All of the companies in the top 25 offer median compensation of no less than $140,000, meaning half of employees earn more than that when combining their salary and bonuses or commissions.<br />
Granted, many of the highest-paying employers are based in high-cost areas such as Silicon Valley and New York City. So that may partially account for the outsized median pay.<br />
But median pay over $100,000 is rare, no matter where an employer is headquartered.<br />
The most important driver of the big paychecks is the demand for highly skilled, well-educated workers, according to Glassdoor.<br />
<br />
<b>Here's the full list of the top 25 highest paying companies this year:
